Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of mind which happens to us every day. During a hypnotic trance, you go into a special state of mind where alpha and theta brain waves are present. This happens in a variety of situations – each time we read a captivating novel, float off in a daydream, or become absorbed in an entrancing movie, we are in this state. It is a very relaxed and safe state of mind.  You are still conscious of your surroundings and in complete control.

No you are never out of control. On the contrary, you are in complete control. You are fully conscious, and you will never say/do something you would never want to say/do.

Every client has different needs and depending on the client’s needs it will determine how many sessions are required. The sessions are customized per the client’s needs.

Yes it does and it’s based on your perception. Many people think that hypnosis is something that we do to put suggestions into their brain or their mind, and they feel as if they are not aware or even conscious while it is happening. Hypnosis may not solve every problem, and it’s not a “magic pill”. There are many scientific studies that show the effectiveness of hypnosis. Hypnosis helps us gain an understanding of our core beliefs and once we do then real change happens.

It is very effective. The 2006 Comparative Study by American Health Magazine show results: Psychoanalysis: 38% recovery after 600 sessions, Behavior Therapy: 72% recovery after 22 sessions, and Hypnotherapy: 93% recovery after 6 sessions.

Hypnosis can help you understand YOU. Self-awareness can bring you happiness and healing. Hypnosis can help you understand the core issue behind certain behaviors you would like to change. When you have that understanding it is easier for you to reach your personal goals and full potential.  Hypnosis does not work miracles.  It is a process.

In Hypnosis you are always in control and always conscious. You will not say or do anything you do not want to. You will remember your session at the end of the session. It is my goal to help you feel at ease and comfortable with the process.

Each session is confidential and individualized. When you first arrive for your appointment, we will spend some time talking about any concerns you may have and how you want hypnosis to help you in your current life. You will then be put in a hypnotic state using several different techniques. A session can last up to 2 hours. At the end of the session you will awaken feeling refreshed, relaxed and remember the session.
